Samuel Freeman gallery is a contemporary art space for solo and group exhibitions of painting, sculpture, photography and film by emerging and established artists.  The gallery works closely with a select group of artists based predominantly in Los Angeles, while embracing new opportunities to work with emerging artists from around the globe.  Our relationships with the artists we show vary between full-service representation to creative partnership.

Past History

Mr. Freeman joined the Patricia Faure Gallery in 2005, working with Ms. Faure closely until her passing in 2008.  Her spirit of re-invention and exploration survives as a legacy with roots stretching back to 1979.  In 2011 the gallery left Bergamot Station, hiring Warren Wagner of W3 Architects to renovate a former office building in the heart of the Culver City Arts District.  With an inviting, versatile exhibition space wrapped around a central courtyard, Samuel Freeman gallery re-opened in 2012 with an exhibition of new works by Masami Teraoka.
