Frank J. Stockton
Frank J. Stockton was born in Santa Ana, California in 1980. He received his MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles and his BFA from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA. He was a recipient of the UCLA Graduate Fellowship as well as the Lorser Feitelson & Helen Lundberg Feitelson Arts Foundation Award. In 2015 Stockton attended the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, in Skowhegan, ME. Notable exhibitions include TRUE BELIEVERS, at Samuel Freeman Gallery (Culver City, CA), INSIDE/OUTSIDE: Works from the Skowhegan Archives, at Common Street Arts (Waterville, ME), TOP COAT, at The Pit (Glendale, CA) and The Status of Portraiture, at Autonomie Projects (Los Angeles, CA). He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
