Richard Diebenkorn’s 41 Etchings Drypoints portfolio (1963-65) provides a glance into the daily life of the artist.  From depictions of his studio to views of his deck, this series has an intimate quality reflecting the changing moods and feelings of the young artist. Printed by Kathan Brown and Published by Crown point press, these rare prints provide insight into lesser known aspects of Diebenkorn’s practice. 

Craig Kauffman’s Interior series is built around common objects found in his studio environment, such as palettes, light bulbs and paint brushes. These collaged works from the late 1970’s employed spare lines and common subjects to produce starkly architectural spaces composed of carefully arranged, distinct pieces. With the physical awareness typical of his works, Kauffman anchored the viewer firmly within a created space using the minimum of materials.
